Backbone Medical Equipment W.L.L. is a Bahrain based biomedical equipment company that was established in 2011 and upgraded to a shareholding company in 2016. The company is owned by His Excellency Shaikh Saud Salman Ali Khalifa Al Khalifa in partnership with managing partner C.P. Mohammed Ali. It is a joint venture initiated by people passionate about enhancing the quality of life to bring about a better and stable environment and attain a respected name in the refurbished medical equipment industry.
H.E. Shaikh Saud Salman Ali Khalifa Al Khalifa is a leading entrepreneur in the kingdom of Bahrain, GCC and European countries. The management of the business is handled by Mr. C.P. Mohammed Ali who has attained vast knowledge in the field through his experiences. He has attended certified training sessions on sophisticated medical machineries from different parts of the world and is always up to date with the technological advancements in the medical industry. He is a reputed biomedical engineer who built his experience over a span of 30 years by working for various hospitals in the kingdom.

Our Biomedical Engineering Service Division, is consists of highly skilled technical team, possessing unrivaled experience and proficiency in installing and servicing various types of medical equipment. These include Diagnostic equipment like – DR X-Ray unit, Portable X-Ray unit, CBCT, OPG-CEPH, Intra-oral X-ray, ECG Machines, Vital Sign Monitor, TMT Machine, etc. We also deal with therapeutic equipments like- AED, Defibrillators, syringe pumps etc.
Through our Medical Equipment Division, we represent various U.S. and European Manufacturers, providing our clients with new technology, thus advancing healthcare in the kingdom.
